Karen and Mike began working together in home care in 2018. Karen is a private duty care manager and health and wellness coach practicing in Towson, Maryland. She is also an advanced professional of the Aging Life Care® Association. Mike is a case manager for a Baltimore-based service coordination firm.Through their personal and professional experience in home care and care management, they have found that loneliness is ubiquitous among older adults regardless of socioeconomic status. Karen and Mike find the hardest part of serving as a Callgiver is ending the phone call.
